Through the published papers, we aim to demonstrate how research knowledge is transferred into education and practice, how teaching fosters research-oriented thinking, and how the clinical environment generates both research and professional challenges. In addition, we would like to emphasise the importance of collaboration, knowledge exchange, and integration across all levels of nursing and midwifery practice, as this synergy enables the advancement of the profession and contributes to improving the quality of healthcare.

Suggested topics

Contemporary and innovative approaches in education (use of simulation, e-learning environments, hybrid models, mentoring, and other methods in nursing and midwifery education)

Linking clinical practice and education (collaboration between higher education institutions and clinical settings, development of clinical mentors, and transfer of knowledge into practice)

Research culture in nursing and midwifery (promotion of research activity, integration of research into clinical environment, and institutional support for research projects)

Development of professional competence, identity, and leadership (professional and personal development, ethical aspects of work, accountability, the role of nurses and midwives within teams, and leadership in healthcare)

Integration of research evidence into practice (use of research findings in clinical decision-making, implementation of evidence into practice, and monitoring outcomes of introduced changes)

Examples of good practice and collaboration (projects and initiatives that successfully integrate research, education, and practice, and contribute to the development of the profession)

Please inform us of your intention to prepare a manuscript via link by 30th November 2025.

The deadline for submission of a manuscript is 28th February 2026.

Editorial Board of Slovenian Nursing Review
Slovenian Nursing Review 2025-10-15 Call for Papers: Special Issue on Promoting Mental Health and Well-being in the Digital Era https://obzornik.zbornica-zveza.si/index.php/ObzorZdravNeg/announcement/view/32
The Slovenian Nursing Review is pleased to announce a call for papers for an upcoming special issue focused on Promoting Mental Health and Well-being in the Digital Era.
