Abstract

Any nurse performing holistic nursing care is trying to fullfil all needs of a patient, including spiritual needs. Only development of conscoiusness and insight into spiritual dimension will enable a nurse to understand, research and offer spiritual support to the patient. Indispnsable in all this are her communication abilities, warmth, empathy and careful human relations.
