Quality of social working life of nurses in hospital

Abstract

The quality of work life is defined with the satisfaction of material, social and personality needs. The present article is oriented to social needs, which can be satisfied with social contacts and can be researched over work individualisation, leaders and technology supervision, conflicts and psychical effort at work. The research included 400 nurses in 5 hospitals, who were asked to complete the questionnaire about quality of their social work life. Nurses arranged the motivators at work, where social contacts were presented with the highest part of high motivation points. The data analysis also shows, that the quality of social contacts for 84,5 % research population is of medium quality, with high satisfaction, psychical effort, conflicts and the need of being concentrated at work, but low work individualisation and leaders supervision.
