The presentation of opinions on the relations among mothers, special teachers and nurses with children during feeding process (part ii)
Abstract
The article presents the opinions on the relations among mothers, special teachers and nurses with children during feeding process. The purpose of the article was to assess the attention to feeding and their relation to the child during feeding by key persons participating in feeding. The data were gathered by means of three conceptually different inventories in June 2004 in the kindergarten Vrtec in Murska Sobota, unit Gozdicek and in the General Hospital Murska Sobota, children department, preschool unit. The research study included 10 mothers of hospitalized preschool children, 5 special teachers from the kindergarten and 5 nurses from the hospital. The results showed that after stopping nursing or bottle feeding their children, the mothers allowed others to take part in the feeding process. When children became independent during feeding, most mothers allowed others to take over although they would have had enough time to spend it with their child. Gathered data also reveal inconsistent cooperation among nurses in kindergarten and parents of children.Downloads
