Med stresom in sočutjem: izkušnje in izzivi psihiatričnih medicinskih sester

Povzetek

Uvod: Psihiatrične medicinske sestre so pri svojem delu izpostavljene intenzivnim čustvenim obremenitvam, nasilju in organizacijskim zahtevam, kar povečuje tveganje za stres in izgorelost ter ogroža kakovost zdravstvene oskrbe. Namen raziskave je bil preučiti mehanizme spoprijemanja z izgorelostjo, vlogo psihiatrične prve pomoči ter strategije za ohranjanje duševnega zdravja med nudenjem zdravstvene oskrbe od psihiatričnih medicinskih sester.
Metode: Med junijem in avgustom 2025 je bila izvedena kvalitativna raziskava, ki temelji na deskriptivnointerpretativni metodi na vzorcu sedmih diplomiranih medicinskih sester in zdravstvenikov. Podatki so bili zbrani s polstrukturiranimi intervjuji, ki smo jih zvočno posneli in prepisali. Pri analizi podatkov je bila uporabljena metoda analize vsebine.
Rezultati: Z analizo podatkov in združevanjem kod v tematske kategorije so bile identificirane štiri skupine izkušenj izgorelosti (simptomi, stresorji, vpliv na profesionalno in osebno življenje) ter dve skupini strategij spoprijemanja z duševnimi obremenitvami (osebne in organizacijske). Udeleženci poročajo o kronični utrujenosti, čustveni izčrpanosti, zmanjšani empatiji, socialni izolaciji, vplivu izmenskega dela, kadrovski stiski in stigmi. Kot ključne strategije spopadanja z duševnimi obremenitvami navajajo telesno dejavnost, stik z naravo, postavljanje meja med službenim in zasebnim življenjem in podporo sodelavcev, pri čemer poudarjajo odsotnost supervizije in pomanjkanje izobraževanj o psihiatrični prvi pomoči.
Diskusija in zaključek: Rezultati kažejo, da je izgorelost v psihiatrični zdravstveni negi neposredno povezana z zahtevno naravo dela in organizacijskimi pogoji. Zahtevane so sistemske spremembe na ravni kadrovskih normativov, organizacije dela, redne supervizije ter ciljnih izobraževanj, kar bi prispevalo k boljšemu duševnemu zdravju medicinskih sester in kakovosti oskrbe.
