Work satisfaction is influenced by many factors, some of which are discussed in this research. The article deals with the results of a research performed on 84 community nurses from different parts of Slovenia. Data were collected by means of a closed questionnaire about work satisfaction. The aim of the research is to prove a model of different forms of work (dis)satisfaction proposed by Bruggemann. It is essentially argued how personal aspirations and actual work situations result in work satisfaction. Different forms of work satisfaction and dissatisfaction in community nurses are proved. Some other results of the research also show that community nurses like their job and are also mostly satisfied with it. They would like to contribute to the design of work process, but are often hindered by problems stemming from their relations with management.Downloads
