Abstract

Social network at work place can be defined as a set of contacts and relations between the employed. In the frames of quality, its structure and social support are of utmost importance. Research study of 400 nurses from five Slovenian hospitals shows that quality of nurses networks at work place is low. Nurses networks include workers and managers, but almost 40 % of the researched population would prefer a larger network. The biggest problem seems to be a lack of possibility for confiding and the assistance with nursing tasks and information.
