The role of the nurse in the application of the developmental screening test denver ii
Abstract
The development of a child follows certain continuity and child’s development includes several milestones which should be recognized and also measured. For the assessment of psychophysical development of children, developmental screening test Denver II is being used. The article presents the results of the testing of children with developmental screening test Denver II. In the children dispensary of the Trbovlje Hospital testing of children is being performed when they come for their systematic check ups in the age from 18 to 19 months. Test results reveal that 99 % of the children show adequate development while 1 % of the children were directed to specialist treatment.Downloads
