Community nursing care of a patient with chronic shinbone wound is presented, as well as a three months follow up of the patient. The changes of the state of the wound are documented with photos and descriptions of separate dressings. The expenses for the material and community nurse visits are presented as well. The comparison of hypothetical expenses of wound dressings with classical materials is shown.
