Vidik medicinskih sester o družbenih omrežjih in njihovem vplivu na duševno zdravje

Uvod: Medicinske sestre poročajo o vsakodnevni uporabi družbenih omrežij v trajanju od ene ure do treh ur, predvsem v zvezi z izmenjavo informacij, povezanih z delom. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti vidik medicinskih sester o uporabi družbenih omrežij na primeru duševnega zdravja in njihovemu vplivu na duševno zdravje.
Metode: Uporabljena je bila kvalitativna deskriptivna metoda dela. Podatki so bili pridobljeni z delno strukturiranimi intervjuji v treh sestavnih delih vprašanj: (1) družbena omrežja, (2) duševno zdravje in (3) e-profesionalizem. Namenski vzorec sestavlja sedemnajst medicinskih sester v starosti med 20 let in 64 let, ki delajo na različnih področjih zdravstva. Opravljena je bila tematska analiza zbranih odgovorov.
Rezultati: V analizi podatkov so bile identificirane tri teme: (1) vidik medicinskih sester o uporabi družbenih omrežij, (2) uporaba družbenih omrežij na delovnem mestu medicinskih sester ter (3) vidik medicinskih sester na vpliv družbenih omrežij na duševno zdravje. Udeleženci intervjujev so poudarili, da je vpliv družbenih omrežij pogojen z naravo vsebin, s katerimi posameznik prihaja v stik. Pri tem so poudarili pomen zanesljivosti virov informacij, prisotnosti nasilnih ali škodljivih vsebin, čas, namenjen uporabi družbenih omrežij, ter vidike, povezane z varovanjem zasebnosti pacientov in ohranjanjem ugleda zdravstvene nege kot profesije.
Diskusija in zaključek: Medicinske sestre menijo, da družbena omrežja pomembno vplivajo na duševno zdravje. Kaže se potreba po vključevanju e-profesionalizma v izobraževalne programe za spodbujanje odgovorne in varne uporabe družbenih omrežij v profesionalnem življenju in zasebnih situacijah.
