Intervencije medicinskih sester za izboljšanje adherence pri starejših odraslih v domačem okolju

Uvod: Starajoče se prebivalstvo in porast kroničnih obolenj povečujeta uporabo zdravil, vendar je adherenca pri zdravljenju z zdravili pri starejših odraslih, ki živijo doma, slabo raziskana. Namen raziskave je predstaviti dejavnike adherence in preučiti vlogo medicinskih sester pri preprečevanju ter zmanjševanju neadherence v domačem okolju.
Metode: Pregledali smo literaturo v zbirkah Medline, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, PubMed, ScienceDirect, Web of Science, Wiley in ProQuest z uporabo iskalnih pojmov: aged, home health care, medication adherence, nurse. Pregledali smo recenzirane objave od leta 2000 do 2025. V analizo smo vključili enaindvajset raziskav, ocenili njihovo kakovost (s standardi STROBE in COREQ) in izvedli tematsko analizo vsebine.
Rezultati: Po analizi smo poudarili več področij, ki jih medicinske sestre obravnavajo pri obravnavi neadherence: izobraževanje pacientov, motivacija, spodbujanje k uporabi pripomočkov, vključevanje in sodelovanje z drugimi strokovnjaki.
Diskusija in zaključek: Medicinske sestre imajo osrednjo vlogo pri identifikaciji in obravnavi neadherence v zdravljenju z zdravili pri starejših odraslih, ki živijo v domačem okolju. Njihove intervencije morajo biti prilagojene posameznikovim potrebam, zahtevam terapije in graditi na strokovnih kompetencah. Zaradi razpršenih rezultatov in omejenih dokazov o učinkovitosti intervencij so potrebne nadaljnje raziskave za razvoj optimalnih, na dokazih temelječih načinov v zdravstveni negi.
