Continuing health care – the challenge of modern management of hospital nursing care
Abstract
Continuing health care is becoming more and more important for quality patient treatment. Continuity is defined as the degree to which different unrelated incidents in health care are brought together and is manifested as a harmonized and intertwined access of all health personnel to the patient and his/her needs and as quality cooperation of staff carrying out health care. Due to broad access points required for the introduction not only of professional aspects but over all to the integration of knowledge and potentials of all individuals involved in patient care, continuing health care presents a specific management challenge.Downloads
