The Development of Midwifery Through Time: Experiences, Challenges, and Visions for the Future
In 2026, Slovenia marks 30 years of academic midwifery education—an important milestone in the development of midwifery as an independent profession. To commemorate this anniversary, we invite contributions that explore the evolution of midwifery education, key achievements, and future challenges and opportunities.
We welcome submissions from midwives, educators, researchers, and professionals in perinatal care. Topics may include clinical practice, education, competency development, research, and the broader healthcare context of midwifery.
